Like any other course, sonography are offered in several sonography schools. Primarily, sonography deals with the use of imaging devise such as the ultrasound to obtain an image of a specific part of the body for assessment, diagnosis or interpretation of diseases or abnormalities. A sonography tech may specialize in obstetrics, neurosonography or ophthalmic neurology to name a few. In this career, you get to concentrate on advance equipments and at the same time work with the rest of the medical staff. More importantly, you get to serve different patients that need your specialties.
